Our Mission for Project Safe Haven

Our world is changing, school shootings should never be the norm.

Generate Security & Peace of Mind. Our mission is to save as many lives as we can! We construct & retrofit schools with retractable ballistic partitions on a track system (patent pending) and deploy early-warning detection using AI cameras & sonar. We can retrofit any public space — churches, grocery stores, and shopping centers — to reduce casualties and injuries by promoting preparedness, awareness, and practical protection strategies.

Our children are under attack; their safety and ability to learn is impacted by anxiety and fear. We can do better for our children.

“No more under the desk.” 19 lives were lost under desks in Uvalde, TX. Since 1999, there have been 440 lives lost and 1,243 injured in K-12 school shooting incidents. Project Safe Haven-Guardian aims to fortify schools and protect children & teachers from active shooters — another layer of protection.

AI-Driven Ballistic Door Defense System

The Project Safe Haven Visual Ballistic Door System provides a fast, intelligent defensive layer designed to stop a shooter from gaining entry. Only the first-floor perimeter doors and windows are fitted with retractable ballistic barriers mounted on guided tracks. These interior barriers deploy within seconds and are engineered to delay or stop armed assailants with high-powered assault rifles (AK's, AR's) all the way up to level 7 ballistics, giving occupants time to shelter and emergency responders time to act.

The system works in three coordinated stages:

  1. Continuous Situational Awareness: A campus-wide mesh of cameras and sensors (visual, thermal, and acoustic) feed into our Situational AI, which watches for atypical movement, weapon-like shapes, muzzle flashes, or threatening behaviors.

  2. Automated Visual Validation: When the Situational AI flags a possible threat, the frame is forwarded to the Integra AI Vision Endpoint for rapid object verification. Advanced computer-vision models confirm whether a firearm or other weapon is present, dramatically reducing false positives before any physical response is triggered.

  3. Coordinated Response & Deployment: Once a verified threat is confirmed, the alert escalates from notification to action. The ballistic doors and window barriers closest to the potential entry points deploy in a controlled sequence to isolate the shooter and seal perimeter access routes. Simultaneously, verified images and location metadata are transmitted to local law enforcement for immediate response.

The system also supports smart selective access. If a student, staff member, or first responder (already verified on the school's roster) approaches a secured door during an incident, the local access controller can allow temporary entry only for validated individuals — keeping unauthorized persons, including the perpetrator, locked out. This integration between the Ballistic Door System, Situational AI, and Vision Verification Endpoint enables identity and threat confirmation in near-real time.

Together, these capabilities form a layered, intelligent perimeter defense — detecting threats early, verifying them accurately, and automatically reinforcing only the most vulnerable entry points. The result: faster protection, fewer casualties, and immediate, verified data in the hands of first responders.

Why Project Safe Haven Exists

A Compassionate Response to Unthinkable Loss

Project Safe Haven emerges as a compassionate response to the harrowing reality faced by families who have endured the unimaginable loss of children in school shootings. It is not just a business — it is a moral imperative to redefine what safety means inside our schools.

Rather than relying on “under-the-desk” routines, Project Safe Haven envisions fortified sanctuaries: bullet-resistant walls, retractable ballistic doors, and most importantly, Integra’s Situational AI — a continuous monitoring system analyzing visual and audio feeds for threat indicators. When an armed perpetrator is detected, Integra instantly alerts authorities, activates alarms, and signals the ballistic doors to begin closing across all perimeter first-floor entrances, sealing the building in seconds, making the building or school a Safe Haven.

At its heart, Project Safe Haven safeguards not only lives but the emotional and psychological well-being of children and educators. Partnering with leading experts in security, law enforcement, and psychology, the initiative ensures crisis responses that protect both the body and the mind — helping schools heal and recover in the aftermath of trauma.

Safe Haven and Integra together represent a new standard: AI-powered compassion — a system that doesn’t just defend but cares. Their union transforms every school into a symbol of resilience, where the right to safety and the promise of peace are preserved for every child.
